Dale Bernard, a Northern Colorado artist and designer, a lover of nature, is inspired by the beauty that surrounds her and by all of God's creations. Painting with a purpose to cause society to be aware and care for our animals and earth is her greatest reward.

Dale had a love of art from a young age, but only began painting earnestly in 2010. Dale, primarily self-taught, has found that the Internet provides a wealth of invaluable instructional material.

Lately, Dale has been working with watercolor, but she also loves working in oil, acrylic and pastels.

To be truly creative, Dale has found that she needs to have time alone, time to be away from the busyness of life. "The best art," she says, "is created in solitude. It is only when we are alone that we can reach into ourselves and find truth, beauty, soul."

She believes that art is an expression of creativity released.
